“Prime Planet Energy & Solutions, Inc.”, a joint venture company specializing in Automotive Prismatic Batteries owned by Toyota Motor Corporation and Panasonic Corporation launched the operation.

April 2020, we started operation as Prime Planet Energy & Solutions.
We are currently facing social issues such as global warming, air pollution and energy problems. Against these background, there is an increasing need for batteries in various fields, such as electrification of mobility, power control for energy saving, and infrastructure in times of disaster. In order to connect a sustainable society to the next generation, we want to improve people lives better. We believe that batteries are the key driving force and centric device.
The company name “Prime Planet Energy & Solutions” reflects not only the supply of energy devices as batteries, but also to provide a wide range of added values and solutions in order to sustain our irreplaceable planet prosperous and clean.
With advanced fusion of Panasonic’s top-level safety, superior quality and reliability, Toyota’s leading electric vehicle electrification, and advanced battery development, and manufacturing as the mutual strength, we aim to be a company that can always deliver new value widely to all customers with the aim of a prosperous future.
